Our story

AboutCDR Writer Australia

CDR Writer Australia is an engineering document writing and review service founded in 2018. Our in-house team supports engineers preparing competency-based documents for professional and skills assessment pathways in Australia, New Zealand, Canada, and the UK.

Our main service is professional document preparation and writing support based on the genuine engineering experience, projects, responsibilities, and records supplied by each applicant. We also review existing drafts for applicants who have already started their documents.

Every project is matched with a team member according to the engineering discipline and type of assessment involved.

Who We Are

Independent Assessment Document Support

Explore Our Services

CDR Writer Australia is an independent assessment-document support company working with engineers, ICT professionals, and other applicants who need clear professional documents for competency and registration pathways.

Our work covers Engineers Australia-related documents, Stage 2 and NER support, Engineering New Zealand pathways, Canadian engineering registration documents, UK CEng/IEng applications, and selected ICT assessment guidance. The exact type of help available depends on the requirements of each assessing body.

We are not part of Engineers Australia, ACS, Engineering New Zealand, the Engineering Council, or any other assessing or registration authority. Those organisations set their own requirements and make the final assessment decisions.

How we got here

From a few friends to Australia’s trusted circle

No investors, no shortcuts — just engineers who kept saying yes to the next person who needed help.

  1. 2018

It started with a struggle we knew first-hand

A small group of migrant engineers who’d battled their own way through Engineers Australia got together after work — nights and weekends — to help friends who were stuck. No office, no ads. Just engineers who refused to let a badly-written report stand between someone and their Australian dream.

  2. 2021

    A name engineers actually trusted

Word travelled the way it does in the engineering community — one approval at a time. By 2021 we’d grown from a circle of friends into one of the names skilled applicants across the Australian market recommended to each other for CDRs and skills assessments.

  3. 2025

A tight team of seven — not one outsourced word

Today we’re a dedicated team of seven working vigorously on every file. We don’t outsource, ever. Your report is written and reviewed inside our own circle of discipline-matched engineers — the same people who reply to your WhatsApp.

  4. 2026

Expanding our horizon — officially into the UK & Canada

This year we’re taking everything we’ve built for the Australian market global — formally offering skills-assessment reviews for the UK and Canada. Not a new venture, but the same experienced team doing what it already does best.

  5. Today

2,000+ engineers, one dream at a time

We’ve helped more than 2,000 engineers fulfil their Australian dream — and we still treat every single report like it’s the only one that matters.

Our Direction

Clear service, real professional information, and responsible assessment-document support guide how we work.

Our Mission

Our mission is to help engineers and professionals present their genuine experience in clear, accurate, and well-organised assessment documents. We want every client to understand what information is required, what our service covers, and what they need to check before their documents are finalised.

Our Vision

Our vision is to build a trusted assessment-document support team for engineers and professionals applying across different countries and registration pathways. We aim to make the documentation process easier to understand through clear communication, technical knowledge, responsible document handling, and service scopes that respect each assessing body's rules.

What We Help Applicants With

Some applicants need help preparing documents. Others already have a draft and want it checked

100% written in-house
01

Writing & Document Preparation

Where the relevant rules permit it, we help organise genuine education, project, employment, technical, and professional information into the agreed document format.

02

Review & Document Checking

If you already have a full or partial draft, we check areas such as structure, technical detail, evidence, consistency, competency links, wording, and presentation.

03

Guidance for Applicant-Authored Work

Some assessing bodies require specific documents to remain applicant-authored. In those cases, we limit the service to the type of guidance or checking allowed under the relevant rules

How We Work

We start with your assessment pathway and genuine professional background rather than using the same process for every applicant.

01

Understand Your Pathway

We confirm your profession, assessing body, document type, current stage, and deadline.

02

Confirm the Service Scope

We explain whether your case needs preparation support, review, guidance, or another form of help.

03

Use Genuine Information

You provide your real qualifications, employment history, projects, responsibilities, technical work, and records.

04

Match the Right Team Member

Your work is assigned according to the engineering or ICT background needed for the document.

05

Review the Work or Feedback

You check factual details or receive clear comments on sections that need attention.

06

Complete the Agreed Service

You receive the work, revisions, or review feedback included in your selected package.

The people behind your report

Meet the team

Not a hierarchy — a circle of discipline-matched engineers who each review the reports they know best.
